prof. roland boer，1961年出生，加拿大麦吉尔大学哲学博士，澳大利亚纽卡斯尔大学研究教授。主要研究领域：宗教与政治、马克思主义圣经批评、宗教批评理论。主要学术著作：《天国的批判：论马克思主义与神学》、《宗教批判：论马克思主义与神学》（三卷本）、《马克思主义圣经批评》、《叩击天堂之门：圣经与大众文化》等。


讲座摘要：

what is love in our modern world? is there
still romance, finding the right person, staying together for the rest of our
lives? or is it simply the case that we meet and part after a briefer or longer
time? is it romance or a dating app like momo? is it love or ‘hookup’? this
lecture argues that both are true in our current situation. in fact, they are two
sides of a profound contradiction. it then becomes possible to analyze the
situation in light of a marxist approach – in the search for a marxist theory
of love. why do we have this contradiction now and what does it say about our
society?
